A strong idea that develops into a wonderful scenario. However, the actual scenario takes up about 3 pages. For a scenario set in an unfamiliar time and place for many Cthulhu players and Keepers, this module could really benefit from some additional background information being included, if even just 2-3 pages worth for the use of Keepers to set the scene.
An excellent framework, but it requires legwork from the Keeper to become a full scenario.

With a little background work, an excellent one night scenario for new or experienced investigators. The plot presented is interesting, but the module does ask the keeper to do some work to fill in the gaps of the scenario. For 2 dollars, the writing is hard to beat.

A fun supplement adjacent to the realm of Troika full of motorbikes and attitude. If that's what you're looking for, this is a very enjoyable product.

A great, short scenario. Requires a little work from the Keeper in order to run (reading "A Color Out of Space" is pretty much required!).
However, if a little additional background info has been done, this module allows the Keeper to present a fun and horrifying night of play for experienced or novice investigators.

A poor scenario that is heavily weighed down by its writing.
Players struggle to follow the plot and to understand events - as written the module seems scattered and disoriented, requiring a lot of work from the Keeper to make into something coherent.
The maps, backround info, even the central idea of the scenario are great. It is just the writing itself that fails to deliver a solid far future scenario.

Hi Andrey, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear this scenario wasn't to your tastes. I'd like to offer you a complimentary copy of my most recent scenario, "Without Warning," if you're interested, and I hope you'll find my writing has improved over the past few years. |

A fun scenario that almost always results in the death of an investigator. Players tend to enjoy the shenanigans involved in deciding who will die, trying to flip coins, sneakily unbury themselves, bury multiple people in one hole, and so on.
Definitely best as a one shot, but it does it well. Well written, with good handouts. Overall a strong scenario for a night of play.

A great scenario that places the investigators into a dangerous series of events that represent part of a natural cycle for a common mythos entity....
This scenario heavily relies on the investigator characters. Campaigns will struggle to adapt and include the scenario without some serious consideration for the skill checks involved.
The scenario also struggles in that the section in the tunnels can become a bit of a drag or even downright unfun in places due to how the players might approach it.
Some potential for highs, but also lows. A decent one shot, but otherwise, not a great scenario.

A great scenario that takes a common Cthulhu premise and somewhat flips it on its head. The author has made some assumptions when it comes to how players will approach the scenario that don't always pan out, which means the Keeper will need to do a bit of prodding to push players in the right direction, especially with those less familiar with the system. Later scenarios by the same author are much improved, and recommended over this one.

A good scenario for one night of play. Can struggle somewhat in places to continue the plot, but it can result in some very interesting personal developments in the lives of your players investigators. They might need a hand around the house after this one!

A wonderful secondary supplement in the "Blood Brothers" line, this book is stuffed full of classic horror movie goodness. The scenarios in this supplement are more refined than in its predecessor but for the most part still manage to be unique and fun in their own ways.

A very classic Cthulhu supplement, useful for demonstrating the mechanics to those who are less fans of cosmic horror and more fans of classic 80's movies. Requires some conversion to 7th edition and not every scenario is as great as the others, but all in all a wonderful collection.

An interesting scenario that gives a feel of a western movie. Keepers beware, this scenario leans much more into Pulp elements than it seems to into Classic'thulu. Another thing, it seems like the author intended it to be run with large groups, which can be rough if you run with smaller groups as the characters are all interconnected in their backgrounds.

A great system building off of the BRP base. Not every element of the system makes sense, but it's very hackable thanks to the nature of BRP for GMs to adjust elements they may enjoy more/less. For what it is, it's an amazingly high quality product.

A very nice supplement for Troika. Plenty of backgrounds and random tables. About the only thing it lacks is some background on the world. Even 4-5 pages would have been amazing, instead there is only a 1.5 page summary. A good supplement, but for nearly the same price as the core book, lacking.
