I ran this adventure for my group as a Halloween-appropriate diversion from our usual sessions. I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the puzzles involved, and the play time was perfect for a single evening. Good for any group at any level. Highly recommend.

The adventure has an interesting premise and it could have been fun to run. There were some glaring problems though.

The first is that the rooms are simply too large. One room is 100x100. That is 4 football fields worth of space in one room of this mansion. That is just ridiculous.

Second is that the adventure must be written with the theatre of the mind type play as its base because the structure of the mansion makes even less sense than the room sizes.

Not good.

This adventure is fun to play and run. It gives the DM a lot of flexibility. You can drop it into any campaign with ease. It has multiple mysteries the players need to resolve. It has some fun role-play opportunities. This is a great adventure for Halloween or any time, really. You will not be disappointed.
