Sliding down the ice and the menagerie of animals was so much fun for my group! Really love it as it distilled the icewind dale experience down to the fundamentals with survival elements while still keeping it somewhat lighthearted.

Helpful and simple. OotA can be a very confusing adventure but this helped me to make my players love it :)

I used all of these encounter for my Out of the Abyss campaign and they are to the point but memorable. (I had to use extra stuff as I was running two groups parallel in the SAME campaign, meaning I divided stuff between them before uniting them in the final boss fight) My players loved that the darklake became a more important area with more stuff happening and are still talking about it to this day. Thank you :)

This adventure is absolutely great. I always loved time loop episodes in series and movies and this scratched that itch. It took us three evenings to finish though and I think it will take most curious groups longer than the adventure says because there's so much to discover in different variants. I would recommend it to everyone as even murderhoboing could lead to interesting results. My players are thankfully goodie-two-shoes though and tried to save everyone.
