For full disclosure, I helped a bit by answering some questions and whatnot before the adventure was released, but went into it blind once it was published.

Ran this for a group of friends, and it's an absolute blast! There's a pretty fleshed out town to start the adventure, but for players just jumping into it along with new characters, it might take a bit of a balancing act to ensure you aren't throwing too much info at them while also getting them invested. Other than that, it's full of great characters and awesome writing. Combat felt particularly weighty as well, as the author chose enemies that throw long-term dehabilitating effects at the players, meaning even for experienced players these low level fights are pretty intense. Highly recommended!

With a group of four players (2 experienced, 2 new), this took about 6 hours to get through total.

I was a player that was run through the adventure. It was a lot of fun, willed with whimsy, wonder, and entertaining NPCs. It's a great adventure to spend a session or two introducing new players to D&D or for experienced players to be entertained by.

This is a pretty cool looking one shot. I haven't run it yet, but it looks pretty straightforward and enjoyable. I've put it at the top of my "introducing people to D&D" pile because it really doesn't require players to have any specific knowledge prior to the adventure and will be a good way to get new players to have fun without worrying about missing stuff because they don't know the setting... in fact you probably don't need to say the word "setting" to them to run this - I always get overwhelmed looks when I have to explain a bunch of history, geography and politics to someone who hasn't played before. I might also use it if we ever need a day off from our campaign or something but still want to play; it has some challenge, but experienced players will be able to complete it without a lot of struggle.
