What I really loved about this adventure was it forced my party to think. Teaching new players to search and put together puzzles that weren't too hard but caused them to use their brains. It was really easy to blend this into my over-arching campaign too, with the reward at the end malleable to my goals. Party had a really good time; caused a little fear with the deep water; produced some great dialogue.

Great adventure! Please do more in Theros!

This is an excellent Theros adventure. I think the red herring clues could have been cut down on a bit, and the written clues could have been Theros-ized a bit, but I liked the color puzzle included, and the dungeon has some nice open-endedness to it. If you are running Theros, this is a must-buy.

Great module! Very fun for my group to dip our toes into this setting. A great mix of story telling, combat, and puzzle solving in an exciting environment!

This small adventure is great as both a one time adventure in Theros and as a supplement to your Theros campaign. Due to unforeseen circumstances with one of my players I decided to quickly run a side adventure in my Theros world with the other players. The way the adventure is written allowed me to set this up in a matter of hours, of which most was spent recreating the map with DungeonDraft (which is not required).

The plot is straight forward but very fun to both run and play, with many of the elements we all love to see in our games: exploration, diverse combat, puzzles, and riddles. While it fits very well into the setting of Theros, which has godly conflicts like the one in the adventure around every corner, it is simplistic enough that I can foresee no problems adapting it to a different setting.

I am a fan of the adjustable encounters and ran into no balancing issues even though I was running it with far from an average party.

To give some feedback, all the rooms have a very small description for the DM to read out yet a few of them fail to describe some major elements in the rooms. I understand these example descriptions should be short but since I did not have much time to prepare it was a bit frustrating to read out the description only to find out one paragraph later there is some major element of the room that the initial description does not mention at all (see "Nyxborn Dormitory" and "Unbreakable Reliquary").

The last point I would like to make is that Appendix A with the monster stat blocks could have been structured better. If the 4 stat blocks can indeed not fit on one page, the Naiad and Anvilwrought Crayfish should definitely be on the same page since they occur during the same combat encounter, to prevent unnecessary scrolling.

Overall I can recommend this to everyone looking for a fun Theros adventure.

A complete adventure that felt very polished. Running this was a ton of fun, and it was easy to adjust.

I interjected a couple of encounters from Encounters in Theros (https://www.dmsguild.com/product/316839/Encounters-in-Theros, in part by the same author) before the characters arrived in the main town and in between travel, which really made the setting come alive!

My first ever adventure for Theros that I ran for 2 children aged 11, 12 and my wife. Was easy for us to get started and much easier than LMoP. Wish there was more! The adjustability on encounters was perfect for me to scale correctly and not have any unneccisary early drops. (First ever encounter a player dropped and it was just not fun for anyone) Thanks again!

Outstanding production quality aside, this is a fantastically written adventure. The story is multi-layered and compelling, read-aloud text boxes are crisp and devoid of poetic jargon, and NPC information is detailed in convenient, easy-to-locate places. The adventure also gives appreciable respect to the exploration pillar of the game.

This is a good adventure for a "thinking" group of players who proactively ask questions, take notes, and are resourceful with their surroundings during encounters (or creatively manage to avoid some battles entirely).
