Barbarians of the Ruined Earth is the perfect replication of Saturday Morning Cartoons like He-Man and Thundarr the Barbarian in Table-Top RPG form. Evans does an excellent job of pairing mechanics with setting to keep the game light and easy to run and filling the book with more than enough material to keep game masters minds brimming with ideas! This game is based on the fantastic The Black Hack mechanics but you do not need a copy of that game to play this one. Do not hesitate to pick up this game if you want to relive your Saturday Morning TvLand with Mad Max Fury!

I ran BOTRE for 8 players today using a modified version of the classic dungeoncrawl "In Search of the Unknown." Everyone had a blast and requested that I run it again next month instead if what i had planned.
