This adventure very well laid-out and fits very nicely into the story arc of the Season 10 AL modules. Creepy themes with the occasional commedic relief make for a really fun time. That said, the handouts provided were an unusual choice. One of the appendices is some lovely art depicting a location that is already described with box-text and doesn't require a visual....meanwhile there are no battle maps provided. I would have preferred to have a map for the river encounter instead of a visual that served no practical purpose.

Overall a great set of art assets. I personally didn't agree with all of the labels (there is art for conditions that don't even exist in 5e, and some art looks different than what you'd expect) but you can easily adjust the labels to whatever you see fit when you upload to Roll20. Definitely recommend this to folks!

I have used this system to run a 2-shot adventure and we had an absolute blast. The rules are fairly easy to pick up; as someone with no prior experience in the Apocalypse World Engine, I had no difficulty understanding the rules and explaining them to my players. The character sheets (Skins) were fantastically well-formatted, further adding to the ease for new players. If you are looking for a fun way to let of steam, I definitely recommend this easy-to-play game to channel your inner teen angst!

That said, the book itself often feels edgy just for the sake of being edgy, and the content is painted as unneccesarily dark. It takes itself too seriously; adopting a very politically-correct/trigger-warning tone while diving headfirst into abuse/trauma subjects that are at complete odds with that tone. Steer clear of the heavy stuff, know your table, and you will have fun.

An extremely thorough and beautiful template for authors who don't have access to (or expertise with) the more complex publishing tools. The instructions cover almost everything you could need in a very clear fashion.

The only things missing are a lack of instructions on how to make a printer-friendly version of your work (without the background and such), and the lack of a convenient format option for picture captions. But I was able to muddle my way through those issues with some trial and error, so this still warrants a 5-star IMO.
