If I'm being completely honest, this has got to be one of my favourite products on the DM's Guild. The piety system presented in Mythic Odeysseys of Theros is brilliant. It incentivises roleplaying and helps the players feel more immersed into the world. This, however, goes above and beyond. It takes the piety system from MOoT and makes it more interesting in my opinion. Instead of a boring old spell you can cast occasionally, you gain even more incentive to roleplay as a follower of a certain god through the features here!
Each god feels unique in the way it's handled, unlike Mythic Odeysseys of Theros feeling like a copy/paste with some differences. At 3+ piety your character gains an inspiration for doing a specific task or action that your god likes. This already improves the piety system much more, as it gives you further incentive to roleplay as a follower of your god, unlike in MOoT where it gives you a spell.
Each feature beyond this, however, is rather unique to each god, and helps differentiate each one. With the amount of gods in the Forgotten Realms, it would've been very easy to just slap a +2 to a stat at 50+ piety for each one like in MOoT, but Mr. Clegg is an over-achiever. He decided to make each god feel even more unique with it's own feature at 50+ piety, making ithis system so much more interesting.
Additionally to the piety features presented, there is a guide to which suggested classes, domains, and backgrounds would make sense for each god (like in MOoT). It also includes table for reasons as to why youre a champion of a god, helping to spark ideas for your character. It also includes a table of alternate ideals for your character that you can use instead of your background.
Overall, this product is outstanding. If I could give it more that 5 stars I would. I am very excited for the upcoming medal unlocks, as I'm very ready to get my hands on some of the Orcish and Drow gods coming in future medal updates (especially Luthic and Eilistraee hehe).
I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to flesh out or spark creativity in their characters or NPCs in the Forgotten Realms. I've already created a number of character ideas through the content presented here. I wouldn't be surprised if you did the same.
Edit: I'd also like to mention the gorgeous styling of this book. Not only is the formatting very nice, but each of the emblems for the gods are gorgeous!
