If the premise of this product sounds a bit bizarre, well, that's because it is. (More than a bit actually.) But it's also all kinds of brilliant. The opening page with the disclaimer "Things are about to get really #$%&ing weird" is the perfect introduction, and spot on. The pages are filled with beautiful and twisted artwork. And it sets the mood properly.
The product itself contains a collection of adventures mostly short enough to be run as one-shots across all level ranges. The themes range from mysteries and body switches to robot hags gone wild and - my favorite - a cooking battle using lasers, complete with a map showing the distance between opposing cauldrons and various kitchen appliances.
There is also a delightful collection of unique monsters, mostly variations of unicorns and hags, including favorites such as nightmare unicorns, gloom hags, and, of course, caticorns.
Highly recommend picking this up for those evenings when your party is in the mood for a zany adventure that leaves them thinking, "Okay, what the #$%& did I just play?!"
