This was a great resource for my Descent campaign. It really fleshed Reya out and made her a much more interesting character for the players to control. Great stuff

For a small group, sometimes you need a hireling or two. Using leveled NPC blocks is way easier than trying to maintain extra characters, especially if you want to avoid the temptation to DMPC. There are some good options in here, too. Highly recommend.

This supplement is a great one for anyone who plans to use the various friendly NPCs in their game and have them evolve and be dynamic characters in and of their own right. as an example, when the players gain Reya as a companion the veteran statblock is a powerhouse that outshines most PCs and then eventually becomes a straggling weakling after a while. this supplement allows Reya to be a good almost party member for large groups or a full fledged companion for smaller parties.
