I first met the good ol psion in 4e when I started delving into the PHB 3 many many moons ago, and I can always rememebr liking the concept a lot. And especially with so many Dark Sun hints being dropped and not coming to fruition, along with the UA psionics - which really should just replace mystics but that is another fight for another time - what we have here is a perfect example of the old addage "Just gotta do it myself." Bardic has put so much effort into rekindling that spicy psionics fire that we all knew we still needed at our tables with his well-laid out, well developed, and mechanically sound document. Overall, I would totally allow this at my table, but my major concern is that it just feels like it is lacking visually. I want more color, more art, especially original art to pull in that alient Surrealist feel of psionics. But like I said, Bardic did a great job making something that was often seen as inaccessible available and easy to use. Comics, Clerics, & Controllers d20 Roll: 15

There is a lot more here than I realized! Admittedly, I think this psionics system itself is a little confusing. It took me a few reads to really wrap my head around it - I'd only recommend this to experienced players. That said, this suplement is packed so much additional content that it's hard to be mad! There are subclasses, spells, racial and lore information, even adventure hooks and guidelines to help you bring psionics into your game. This is an all-in-one psionics supplement. If you're interested in using psionics in 5e, this is a great starting point.
