Great toolbox for playing Traveller -- and you really need to approach it as a toolbox, there are so many layers of complexity that you really do not need to use if you don't want to. I personally prefer Classic Traveller or Cepheus Engine, or Mongoose 2e, but I think this is well worth it for a wider range of ideas and tools for any Traveller game.

My only serious annoyance with this is the lack of bookmarks. Any PDF longer than a few dozen pages, particularly any that will be a necessary reference to play, absolutely 100% needs to be bookmarked. No exceptions. I'd rate this 4 stars but for this egregious failure in usability.

Any game over 40 pages or so that doesn't have bookmarks will never get more than 2 stars from me. The rules themselves seem pretty solid, but I'd never run it without a good way to quickly reference rules sections.

Wonderfully imaginative and versitile ruleset. Easily one of my favorite games in the OSR space. I love the inclusion of author's notes for WHY certain rules are they way they are.

The only reason this isn't a 5-star game is that print-on-demand results in text way too close to the spine. The layout could benefit from a larger inside margin for printing.

This is definitely my favorite cyberpunk/post-cyberpunk game, and I've played quite a few of them (all editions of Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020 and Red, The Sprawl). It's not afraid to take a stand on what the genre should be focusing on, something that gets lost in a lot of other games. The core mechanics are easy but lend enough depth to be interesting, and all of the subsystems (burden, assets) mesh really well. I love that the core setting is fairly self contained (Grand Cross space station) but leaves plenty of opportunities for your own stories and modifications. And it's refreshingly not 100% grimdark like some other cyberpunk settings. Well worth the purchase!

Some nice ideas in this, I think it's worth the money, but the layout needs some love. Text runs up too close to page borders and viewing it in facing pages mode results in some pages properly faced and others jarringly unfaced.

One of my earliest loves in TTRPGs was Rolemaster. I played and ran that constantly in middle school and high school. Against the Darkmaster is the best successor to Rolemaster/MERP on the market, and I've looked at them all. Happy to have supported this and look forward to more open-ended d100 adventures!

This is a fantastic resource for quick scenario (or campaign) ideas. There are 70 different seeds so there is something for everyone and every game style here. Well worth it for a lazy GM that doesn't have trouble filling in details tailored for their particular player characters.
