Oh wow, my players loooooooved Margrin's moving tavern. The bard immediately asked to play a tune, the noble-born sorcerer immediately ordered a bottle of very expensive wine, and everyone else was grateful for the one night respite in hell. Adds some great colour and humour (not to mention some neat quest hooks). A great supplement to my Descent into Avernus campaign.

Good content, bad PDF. I like two of the three Inns here (the other is a Guy Fieri joke that doesn't do it for me, but YMMV). I really dislike the fact that PDF navigation is broken, the text is a jumble when you copy & paste out of it, and that things aren't labeled properly. (Like "glass of reverals" is in the items as "revisal hourglass" and for some reason searing "hourglass" only turns up the text in the appendix and not the part of the text where it talks about how you get the hourglass and basically the whole thing is just a mess.)

I love the ideas, but I'd be better off printing it out and flipping.

Very strange - I've not heard any other complaints about the text search functionality of the PDF. I'll have to look into that when I do the update for this PDF - but I can't seem to recreate the issue on my end. How often acrobat updates and uploads cause issues, it's sad that it's not a huge shock to me. Hopefully I can find what's causing the problem and sort it out for the next version.

OH HEY, if you're having trouble copy/pasting from the PDF - try the Printer Friendly version. I tested both and printer friendly version seems to hold the formatting much better since the background is a non-issue (white). Depending on a NUMBER of factors, that might be easier to navigate on your machine! Happy hunting in hell.

I love, love, love the interesting locations and the uniqueness put forth in this module. These areas are incredibly detailed and provide wonderful quests to add to DIA or really any adventure that happens through Avernus. I give it a 5 star, but I really rate it at 4.5 stars. Since there is not a selection for that, I decided I would err towrds the positive here. For a book that put so much thought into every dish and menu and employee of the locations, I felt that the same care was not given to the stat blocks. I fully admit that I am incredibly picky when it comes to stat blocks (even so much as having issues with a few of WotC's creature blocks), but I appreciate the attention to detail even more. This was not just minor editing mistakes (although there were quite a few). I just wanted to say, thouh, that even though I have problems with the stat blocks, they are easily fixable and I still feel that the flavor of the encounters are intact. Sorry for the long-windedness of my ONE gripe!

To be fair, this product is an absolute joy to read and I cannot wait to introduce a hellish party to any of these!

This book contains three very detailed locations that are fleshed-out with interesting NPCs, items, quests, and even some humor. Any of these places would make a great home base for further adventuring! Its obvious that much love, care, and attention to detail went into the creation of this guide, which even includes different menus designed for each location that will make great player handouts. In addition to everything else you get, the artwork is simply stunning! This is well worth the price, and I am very glad to have this available to me as a resource

Very creative locations to add to any infernal setting, beautiful artwork and extremely detailed NPCs to add extra depth to these safe havens for your party. Each location comes with a variety of quests tied to the NPCs, the material in this supplement can easily add 10 or more hours to a campaign set in hell. A lot of attention is paid to the fiendish menus and the handouts provided are of excellent quality. Definetly worth a buy!
