The interior layout is decent; old school, two-column, and B&W. The artwork is actually very reminiscent of the older TMNT comic books. The bright orange front cover with various mutant animals is eye-catching. The art is what attracted me to the product... but unfortunately that's the only thing I enjoyed.
This is hardly a game at all; the rules are extremely bare bone and poorly constructed. There's hardly enough material or character advancement rules for a campaign. Maybe someone could use it for a one-shot? This feels more like an outlet for the "author" to piggypack off of established intellectual property (TMNT) while force-feeding some very disturbingly racist and prejudice views.
There's a random table in the character creation called "Identity Politic" that uses some extremely offensive terminology to describe the player characters; things like "cholo" or "undocumented". I myself am Latin and African American. I find it odd this game is supposed to champion for social justice, yet uses terms people of my background find offensive or derogatory. The author includes a large variety of races and religions, but made an obvious effort to exclude Christianity and Caucasian from the list.
I brought this to my gaming table (which includes mostly people of color) and no one wanted anything to do with it. We get together to enjoy a game, not act out someone's extremist viewpoints. I couldn't even find a single thing to cannibalize for a different system. This is easily the worst and unusable product I've ever purchased on DriveThruRPG.
Absolutely would NOT recommend.
