I chose this background for a Triton Bard in a one shot game. I like it a lot! It made it explain why that Triton was so eager to spread the word that they event went to the surface to do it. Made a very funny session!

So glad you liked it! I know that the DMG says you can mix almost any set of languages or skills to form a custom background, but I love fleshing out the whole thing to offer a little spark inspiration.
