I like these all whole wack. It's so much easier to keep track of initiative when both the players and the dm can see who is next in combat. It eliminates asking a player his ac when you forget who your talking to. It makes it easier to check the order of play if you are walking around the table moving enemies on a map and attacking with them. It's also nice to have the immunities of each player show so you never forget what things can't hurt your players. The only criticism i can think of is that there should be a slightly thinner version which can fit more enemies on the dm screen.

Got the first handbook off a friend and wanted the second. I love it! Monster slaying has become a new joy for everyone. This book makes players willfully seek out monsters to collect specific parts for quests, potions or rituals. When players need an item from a certain monster it tells the dm which monsters can be placed throughout your world. It forces the players to travel around and not get stuck going back and forth between familiar spots when they lose track of where they need to go next. It also inspires the dm to create situations where a specific part is needed from a monster the dm may wish to include. Even if a specific part isn't needed it can still be sold or kept as a trophy of victory. Many players of mine have collected stuff like teeth, hands, or hotdogs from dead foes, now they can collect other valuables as well. I am very impressed with these books as they have easily helped me improve my dming skills.
