Forbidden Arcana: Kelust's Tower
Publisher: Ronin Arts

Maybe I am just used to the normal Forbidden Arcana topics we normally see from this series however I felt this one fell short of the mark. Granted, it does state it does not come with NPC Stats which I would have thought should have made very little difference except for the fact it seems the entire flavor of it is directed towards the NPC's. With such a strong connection between the tower and the NPC's, they should have been included. If it was going to be general, then it should have been written with a generic flavor.

Perhaps this would be a good time for another one of those, "If you leave a review by such a date, you will get the NPC's" or even as a web enhancement. Something but I stand by the ground, they are needed to complete this product.

Maps: I have nothing against the guy who does these maps but I have also never purchased them either. They have a very cookie cut feel to them though when used in such a way.

Anyways, my thoughts and opinion

I found it pretty interesting over all. As per usual, I love the price vs content you get from this series. Of course as with anything of such, you are always wanting more. chuckles but this isn't the PDF's fault.. just my constant desire for more.

Great buy!

1 word...

Outstanding!

In every aspect this product lives up to what it states. I hope to see the other quarters of this city given as much detail and live. West's maps are mind blowing and bring the product to life.

Not to often I find myself here commenting about a book but in this case, I had to. It was a pleasant shock to find this book to be of wonderful quality. In my opinion it brought back memories of when Ravens Bluff first started coming out and the endless potential it had. Even if this was the only sourcebook for this City ever hit light, well worth the 10 dollars. The information is solid and moldable for any campaign, the maps are great and even offer multiple styles and versions. In all, great value for a great product
