I have to give thumbs up to this shard. It's got enough direction, back story, and stats to make a GM's job easy and the story compelling, but enough is left open to allow for lots of flexibilty and to coin a phrase, "make it your own". I especially like the ideas at the end of the shard about some possible alternate plot twists and side-stories to give a GM further ideas. I plan on using one or two myself.
