I ran a simplified version of this recently with my group as a section of a larger complex. They really enjoyed figuring out the puzzles and room mechanics! (They took so many notes of the descriptions.) Everything is explained very clearly. Overall, it was a lot of fun and very easy to adapt it to fit in with our homebrew campaign (it happened to dovetail quite nicely with other details I have planned). I enjoyed running some monsters I hadn't tried before.

Tomb of the Marsh King was a fantastic and well thought out adventure. The settings were meaningful, the NPCs were interesting, and the encounters were undeniably fun. My favorite aspect of this module was definitely the puzzles. The various riddles and clues scattered throughout the dungeon gave life and charm to the location while also providing a variety of challenges beyond combat and traps. There's plenty here for all players and every party role to enjoy. Moreover, the document itself is clean, well-written, easy to understand, and a breeze to use. I highly recommend this adventure!

Tomb of the Marsh King is an epic dungeon crawl for level 6 – 7 characters. In it, the players are tasked with recovering/finding the body of a missing scholar named Handrick that recently ventured into the tomb. His former guide Entus is willing to tell the party where the tomb is but requires payment. Unbeknownst to either Entus or the party is that the spirit naga Piohn has made the tomb his lair and uses it as a base from which to go out and explore the surrounding swamp. Handrick had made it past the tomb’s traps but was killed by Piohn. The party must therefore navigate the extensive tomb and defeat Piohn to get the many fabulous prizes hidden within it. However, even if they do, they’ll likely make an enemy for life out of Piohn.

I really liked this adventure! It’s got some neat background lore and uses the spirit naga to great effect. There are plenty of traps, some of which cannot be found or disabled, and lots of little twists and turns. Some of the clues didn’t 100% make sense to me, like the one about the rising sun vs. the setting sun in the entrance room, but that was mostly because I didn’t see how it would help the party choose the correct path. The internal art also isn’t the best, but the maps are generally quite good. Minor flaws aside, it’s a really fun, difficult adventure with great rewards and dangers. Definitely recommend!

Great one-shot adventure! It can be modified to fit your needs. This adventure is not heavy on combat but still provides a lot of unique and challenging encounters in the way of puzzles and traps. Definitely would recommend, especially if you and your players are longing for a Tomb of Horrors style dungeon.

Ran this just yesterday for a change of pace, giving the players something to think about, not just hack and slash. This adventure is well written and documented with some uncommon encounters. Everyone enjoyed it. I had just three characters in the party (cleric, rogue and ranger), all 7th level. They really needed at least one more member in the party. Great adventure, highly recommend.

This is a fun dungeon crawl that can easily be run in one or two sessions depending on your party. The dungeon features some well-thought out puzzles that will deifnitely engage players, and a generous helping of traps to create a good sense of tension. The aesthetic of the tomb is unique and well defined, and further brought to life by the adventure's custom illustrations. Overall well-made one-shot that I would definitely recommend.

A love letter to classic modules like the Tomb of Horrors and Nightfang Spire. If you like old-school dungeon crawls, this module is definitely worth checking out!
