Simple and flexible, which is everything a micro-RPG should be. Grab a handful of 6-sided dice of two different colors, spend a few minutes creating a character, and you're ready to play!

Good resource book for Tiny Dungeon or Advanced Tiny Dungeon. Yes, these trades are well thought out and help flesh out your characters' backgrounds. But the piece that really makes this book shine out are the Tricks of Trade, a special ability unique to each Trade that helps them stand out from each other. This book offers a freash twist on character backgrounds.

Great rules for dark magic games. The rules it adds for magic are mechanically simply while adding good depth to magic, making it darker and more dangerous. Not rules you would want to snap into every campaign, but when you want a story showcasing the corrupting influence of magic, these rules would be a fantastic addition!

For years I played games with multi-hundred page rules and multiple books. Enjoyed many of the systems, but never cared for how unrelentingly LARGE they were. Came across the TinyD6 system as a suggestion on Kickstarter and thought, "Sure. I'll give it a try."

A few years later and I now own every TinyD6 game and have not gone back to (or frankly even missed) those larger games. I love the simplicity of TinyD6 and how it allows you to get the rules out of the way and get down to the enjoyable storytelling part of the game.

Cannot recommend this system enough, either for newcomers or veteran RPG players.

Detail: What you're paying for are daily 2-page adventure seeds. These are not the types of adventures that tell you exactly where to go and what to do. Instead, they give you the seeds you need to create fantastic adventures in your TinyD6 game. While they are written specifically for Stranger Stuff, they will work in just about any TinyD6 game with very little tweaking. Lucus Palosaari has done a fantastic job of creating good, creepy Halloween content. And every day is very unique, with each new adventure bringing something completely different from what has come before.

This subscription is well worth the price just for the adventures.

But the adventures are not all you get. Every few days they add more bonus content. This extra stuff adds dozens of pages to your Stranger Stuff game. And, like the adventures, each one is completely unique.

This is a good buy for anyone who likes the TinyD6 in general, and a fantastic buy for fans of Stranger Stuff.

John D. Payne has a wonderfully fertile imagination. To say this title expands TinyD6 magic doesn’t do it justice. "Expands" isn't a big enough word. The Micronomicon explodes TinyD6 magic into a multitude of wonderful, individual, creative facets. It gives you many tools you can use to create the magic user you want to play, with each chapter delving into completely different styles of magic.

This book is an amazing source for anything and everything magical within the TinyD6 system.

Hands down, the BEST collaborative world building tool I have ever seen. Your group works together to design the world in which you will play, making everyone invested in the game before you even start playing.

I have never seen personalities done this way. Most NPC tools are a simple sentence. This is a sentence AND it tells how the person responds to various things. Stunningly in-depth personalities with a simple roll of 2d6.

I didn't think it would be possible to capture the feel of an online MMO in a pen-and-paper RPG. Or, if it was possible, it would be overly complex and unweidy. I am happy to announce that Shawn Carman has proved me wrong on both counts!

Simple mechanics allow you to truly tailor your character to how you want to play. The author gives you the flavor of the world, but leaves the vast details for you to create. While the details given are for a fantasy game, the system is open enough that an inventive GM can take this system and use it to generate their own MMO for their players to populate.

Between Sun & Shadow is an excellent campaign system. Not only does it give Tiny Dungeon players a whole new world to explore, but it also greatly opens up player choices. New Heritages and new Traits are just the beginning. It also includes a thoroughly unique magic system that allows players to delve into many different styles of magic. As if that wasn’t enough, almost every section of the book has lists of rumors that the Game Master can use as adventure hooks to help flesh out and explore the world.

The light/dark divide makes the game world different from any other I’ve played. Gregory Israel did a fantastic job of thinking through now the lack of a moving sun would affect everything from timekeeping to society to creatures.

All in all, this is a deeply imaginative campaign world that makes a great addition to the game library of any Game Master or player.

In the Tiny Dungeon 2e rulebook, one of the Micro-Settings is Telas do Montas, the abandoned city of the Wise Ones. Deep Dive claims that it expands on that micro-setting. And it does, but it also does so much more.

Deep Dive gives great ideas for traps, treasures, magic items, curses, and more. And it even includes a quick and easy system for randomly generating dungeon rooms on the fly. While these things were tailored for the Telas do Montas setting, they are not specific to just that setting.

This is a fantastic toolkit for any Tiny Dungeon GM, regardless of the setting.
