Dungeon Dwellers: Blank Card Pack 1

There is no form fill-in ability with these so you have to write everything in by hand which was disappointing. However, you can't beat the price.

These are meant to be used with a graphics program such Photoshop or Gimp (which is a free download). These will let you insert text and images where you want rather than writing by hand.

A very nice paper dungeon for a low price. The artwork is good. I haven't put anything together, yet, but it appears easy to do so.

My only complaint is the last page which features an open floor graphic for filling in gaps in the dungeon and creating rooms. The company logo is placed right on the graphic making 6 squares unusable unless you don't mind the logo showing up in the middle of a room. Too distracting to me personally. Hopefully this is something that will get corrected and is the only reason I didn't give 5 out of 5.

Thankyou for the review and feedback. We have now updated Minute Dungeon and the logo no longer appears on the floor texture.

Steel and Glory, Set 3, Mini-Game #47

For a good review of this game system check out the reviews for set one. I have yet to actually play the game as of this writing, but I have looked over the rules 4 or 5 times and it seems have great play potential. I am also considering picking up the Monster Bash game from Bad Baby since it uses the same system with a small difference. I'd like to play a game where the warring factions get caught up in the middle of a monster bash fight and have to survive against not only the enemy, but the monsters trying to use them for food. Now they have released a magic supplement for Steel and Glory, giving another dimension to the game. Looks enticing.

It would be nice if they had an option of getting the armies and tiles from the other sets as seperate purchases for a cheaper price so people don't have to buy the same ruleset over again just to get them. (Hint hint)

Also, it would be nice if they released a supplement detailing rules for creating units for those people who want to use miniatures they already have instead of tokens. (Hint hint)

LIKED: A simple combat system that doesn't get bogged down in many calculations to resolve combat.

DISLIKED: At this time there is no way to get the other armies without buying the same ruleset over and over.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
Thanks for the review, I?m sure your thoughts on the system will help others when they think about getting into the game. As to your hints, while you do get a copy of the rules with each set, its really the cards and counters for those factions that you are buying when you pick up a set. We supply the rules with each set so anyone can start to play with any of the sets (Well, other then the magic supplement, which has its own add on rules.) The idea of generating your own characters though, is great, and may well see us working on it this summer, as we have several more additions to the game to work on within the next few months. By the way, using Monster Bash with S&G would be a blast, and both are quite usable with each other.

Holy Shiatsu! I am very glad to see this product come out! I had been wanting to design something very similar for our group to play with and now I can take it off the "to do" list. Utilizing the d20 system makes it very flexible to incorporate into other games with a little thought and a good testing ground for "house rules" you might want to implement in RPG sessions without designing a "hack and slash" scenario just to try them.

LIKED: It's a well-rounded product that includes everything you need to get playing, minus the dice.

DISLIKED: Typos! It needed some further proofreading before release, but they don't interfere with understanding of game mechanics. Just a nitpick.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
They aren't kidding. These caves really are flooded. I was worried they would be remakes of the original cavern set but it is all new flooded cavern tiles with connection pieces to the dry caves plus a bonus tile. Worth getting to expand your cavern set.
