Really great module! I ran it for an AL event, and got through the main plotline and one of the optional objectives in about four hours. The social aspects of the module were very fun, and there were a lot of funny interactions between the characters and the players. I would say although it's somewhat light on combat encounters, when they come, they don't pull any punches. Especially with the disease aspects, it's very easy for the final encounter to go downhill very quickly. It was fairly well laid out, although I might have preferred to have the optional objectives directly following the scenes they were written to be triggered by, instead of attached at the end. It might just make it a little easier to navigate.

I ran through this module almost entirely in a limited time (3.5 hours while also including Liar's Night material), as a result I had to cut short the last component.

I enjoyed the content, storyline, mystery for the players to discover, horror to experience in a Halloween mood, fun and interesting NPCs for the DM to run. I found the section titles a little hard to follow, I prefer that they more directly describe the scene. I think the bonus objective structure in the layout does not suit the structure of this type of open non-linear adventure. I would prefer if these could be placed within the context of the storyline and location rather than at the end of the PDF.

As a suggestion, it would make life easier for the DM to understand everything if there was a simple sketch of the location layout showing the main features that are visited by the party.

My overall summary is that this really should be run as a four hour adventure, because to cut out any components including the bonus objectives is to sell the story short. I would like to run this adventure again with more time than I had allowed.

(Pre-Session Review on 18 July 2019) Well-written, leaving parts which should be open to DM interpretation and modifications untouched, and the parts which are important to the plot/story well-fleshed out and detailed enough to leave no Plaguestone unturned.

(Post-Session Review on 9 August 2019) The players enjoyed the atmosphere and RP, but its quite easy for the players to miss Bonus Objective B, as it is not on the "path" if they find out about the secret entrance to the manor. Overall still a 4/5.

Thank you for the follow-up! I couldn't get my group to do Bonus B either during the premier, some of that was the time constraint of the convention. It may seem anti-climatic but it is possible to do that objective after the main story is completed while the party is still in the area. Thanks again!
