Although the format of this file is not the most attractive, read the rules. After reading the rules, you may still be a little afraid to play Clash of Steel. Swallow your fear. I finally had a chance to playtest Clash of Steel using the Sci Fi rules. I was very surprised on how well the game played out on the tabletop. My initial reaction to the rules was less than favorable, but after playing the game, I was wrong. The rules work very well. I intially was afraid that the point values for vehicles were way out of sync with the point costs of troops, but during the playtest everything seemed to make sense and point costs appear to be well balanced. The rules lend themselves to be a quick play and I will be adding some of my own homegrown rules to the next battle I play...this is exactly what the game designer intends. I highly recommend Clash of Steel and I look forward to testing the Fantasy part of the rules in the near future.

LIKED: Easy to learn and play, rules are easily adaptable to do whatever you what to do on the tabletop.

DISLIKED: Format, it really could use some upgrading. The only reason I am not rating this product five stars is due to the format/appearance. Also, just a side note, I would love to see the website updated.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
