I love this. Running a homebrew cyberpunk game and these rules keep the hacking fast and simple and not require the other players to take a pizza break while the netrun is handled. Some of the big games could take a queue from this.

I got word that the author of this title is developing a Cyberpunk setting. Now reading this, I'm even more excited for it. Straight forward, no noncense and practicle at the table, Fast Lane Hacking was exactly what I needed for a recent game.

If one is looking for fast and potentially upgradable hacking rules, this is a neat little system that builds on the basic Dramatic Task. It is not convoluted, which is a great plus, as there is a high probability, that only one of the characters will take part in the action.
