Tried out the "taster" and then decided to buy the full version - and did not regret it!
It it clear that a lot of work has gone into this, and it ended up being ~4 hours of (leisurely) playtime for me.
One thing I will comment on - perhaps I was going it wrong, but the difficulty was no joke! I tracked deaths instead of actually allowing my PC to die, and ended up with 6 deaths at the end of the adventure. Some of those could have been avoided through more care and not running into fights headlong (this is how we learn!), but sparse long/short rest opportunities mean that working your way back up to a higher HP total once it is brought down can be tough.
I imagine classes with healing spells might have an easier time of things - but I wonder if perhaps something like HD and healing potions providing max heals when playing solo could be an option suggested to players?
None of this is a criticism of the difficulty level - I really enjoyed feeling like encounters mattered and being on the edge of my seat during crucial rolls.
All in all: A enjoyable, well put-together and appropriately challenging module. Looking forward to the next release!
