A cleverly designed and fresh take that fits in the Eberron setting or could be reflavored across the multiverse!

It is easy to read and I appreciate the updates the author has made to improve play.

I was really disappointed by the latest update of the UA artifcer, it fels like it had just cherry picked the best things from all the classes. THIS is not like that. This is actually good, well balenced and with an unique take on a well known class we're all waiting for. I especially like the look of the sabatour and would happily have this run at my table!

Really great take on the Artificer! Very well written with concise and easy to understand language as well as some great flavor. Also very cool spell list choices. I think the Alchemist and Saboteur Specializations feel dwarfed by how many options you have with the Homonculist but they seem no less effective. This is a high quality product, especially for the PWYW tier.

This Artificer class is a great take on the concept, and fits really well if you want an Artificer that actually specializes in making things and crafting. From the mundane to the magical this artificer lets you get down to actually producing stuff. The subclasses really specialize across what I think are the key subspecialities in Artifice from Alchemists to Homonculi!

Marsie is a great designer, and the class is solidly built and well conceived with abilities that really evoke the fiction I think a lot of us want to feel a part of when playing an Artificer.

I loved the Artificier class ever since the original 3e Eberron sourcebook, but I feel it has been hard to recapture that liberating creativity in recent editions. Marsie Vellan's 5e update does a great job of empowering the player to create and problem solve without making it completely migraine-inducing for the DM. There's a good balance of rewarding preparation and planning with in the moment flexibility and all three of the class specializations bring something new and compelling to the archetype. I particularly liked the Homonculist specialization, which focuses on building yourself a mechanical buddy. You get to make a lot of interesting decisions about its skill set, abilities, and shape resulting in a custom companion. One of the forms you can build your homonculus into is a PANGOLIN! I made an embarassing squeak of glee when I read that. :) I'd definitely recommend checking this out if the other artificiers out there haven't quite scratched the itch, or if you're looking for a good solid creator/crafter/mastermind archetype for your game.
