This is an incredible map. I love it. Could you please update the Read me document with a list of the fonts you used in the map and what they were used for? I want to use your unlabeled map and add elements to it as the players discover things. I am not a designer. I would like to use the same fonts you used when creating the map. I am currious. Did you use CC3+ to draw the map? Great job.

Thanks for the review, Lance! This map was digitally painted in Photoshop, but you should be able to import it into your preferred software to add text labels. The fonts I used are Modesto Condensed and Bookmania. I have a commercial license to both with my Photoshop subscription, but if you search google for D&D 5e fonts, there are plenty of suggestions out there for open source or free for personal use fonts that look similar enough if you squint. Hope that helps! |

This adventure is delightful to play as both a player and a DM. There are some excellent roleplay opportunities, as well as challenging combats. There is a puzzle that is also a lot of fun, and you can tell he puts a lot of work into making the puzzle unique. Even though this is an Adventurer's League adventure, it should be easy to adapt to any campaign.
The author also published a popular selling "Puzzles and Riddles." This is a great supplement for any campaign.

This adventure is fun to play and run. It gives the DM a lot of flexibility. You can drop it into any campaign with ease. It has multiple mysteries the players need to resolve. It has some fun role-play opportunities. This is a great adventure for Halloween or any time, really. You will not be disappointed.
This same DM also wrote some other great material. He has a very popular "Puzzles and Riddles" and a fun adventure with a great puzzle, "Library of Lost Books."

This is a great adventure just in time for Christmas. It has a fun intro that has opportunities for roleplay. It has numerous Christmas filled combat encounters. I love the puzzle. Many times, I am disappointed with puzzles in adventures, but not this one. The ending is a challenging encounter with a humorous Christmas theme. Your table will have a very merry time playing in this.

This is a five star adventure and trilogy. The players at my table loved it. I would give the main bad buy three legendary resistances. The story is great.

This is a five-star adventure and trilogy. I would modify the "Into the Woods" encounter. The adventurers will face off against either trolls, ogres or rust monsters. This seemed like someone was just picking creatures from the monster manual. Instead, I would replace these monsters with just ogres. I would also put in their heads’ intelligence devourer. This would connect them to the Illithid and explain why they were there. I would skip the trap they set in this encounter.

I was very disappointed with this adventure. This adventure could have been so much fun. Follow these steps to make the adventure 5 star.
- You will need to draw your own maps. The author provided none.
- Run the mod as is until after the battle outside the warehouse.
- Assign the boss Legendary Resistance and Legendary Actions. Otherwise your players will be very disappointed in the boss fight.
- Remove the assistance of Elama from the boss fight. The boss fight is supposed to ALWAYS be the climax of the story. This is a quote from the author “This should be a fairly easy fight if characters have 7 or above points”. That should never happen.
- Rename these three characters, Elama, Elena and Elsa. Never name characters with similar names. Why? The players and the DM will get confused.
- Tier 3 characters have many ways to travel. My players bypassed the hydras, Werewolves Patrol in the Cormanthor Forest, and the Adventurers Camp. To correct for this, do the following. Remove the druid encounter and replace it with the Werewoves Patrol. When the characters go through the back entrance add the Hydras in a cavern prior to where they meet Elama. When they meet Elama she is in a shrine to Shar that once was to Selune. Esla made her pray to Sharr because she took some of the children from the camp.
It will now be a five-star adventure.

This could not be a better mod. I loved it. The players loved it. Great combo of roleplay and combat. I received some of the nicest complements after running it.

The first two in this trilogy were a lot of fun. The last mod was just not quite as fun. But it could have been how I ran it.

I loved this adventure. I ran it twice. It was a hit at the con I ran it at. This adventure taught me to double check players. One player told me the spell daylight is "like the sun". It is NOT.

I loved this adventure. I ran it twice. It was a hit at the con I ran it at. However, the reward at the end for the players was very unpopular. The players saw this as a 10 out of 10 until I told them what the reward was.
