I'm a few months into a Rappan Athuk campaign and this couldn't have been more timely. There is a ton of great material here for you to add elements to your campaign even if you are running shorter dungeons. I already use a modified version of the treasure XP rules here and there are added rules for milestones, setting up bonds and connections for your PCs and NPCs, and lots of other cool options to really make the megadungeon campaign feel like a story-based campaign rather than just an extended multi-level smash-and-grab game. On top of that are new downtime activities, including a really cool "save point" mechanic that works like a travel montage for ending the session with some interesting possibilities (and consequences!) and rules for fortifying a dungeon outpost or encampment which I will be quick to adopt for my own game. There's also a chapter on ending the campaign and some of the elements for further use, though I might have a while before I get to that.
For less than seven bucks this is a great investment in your dungeon-crawl game. No fluff and can be dropped into your game right away. Highly recommend!
