You either like this concept or you don't. If you want a locatio already mapped out, that you can then turn into an adventure by adding details and encounters, then these are great products. Excellent set and VERY LARGE. I am already using it to create a oort cloud comet base for my space campaign. Equally great for recreating Ice Planet Hoth.

Something also needs to be said about the Customer Service of Skeleton Key Games. It is the best! Every time a new set comes out we get a coupon via email. When we make a comment about a set, it gets listened to. I had a catastrophic computer failure and lost a couple of sets and they were replaces. This little PDF (for only $2.00) shows exactly to what heights small press publishers can ascend. It is excellent. It details a dragon and its hoard in complete detail-- right down to telling you what the dragon would do each round. Handy forms for DM's use are also included. The art is both pleasing and appropriate and the layout is spectacular. Another excellent book in the series, all of which are more than worth the money. If you are doing a d20 space game, then these are excellent additions.

I'm not sure I love the design of this ship personally. The mid-fuselage wings look a little out of place. I don't know how much use I'm going to get out of this set right away (although I am using the Ice Caves set to recreate Hoth for my Star Wars Miniatures) but this set is really pretty. I love the snow leopard skins! Beautiful. The Ice Dragon which you can see on the ad print is also really nice.

I was not overly impressed by this product. On the one hand, the ideas for this campaign are so unique that I don't think I will be able to cherry pick all that much from it, and on the other hand, the setting is so big that (the book readily admits) not all of the setting can be presented. I think this setting is too different and too ambitious to be presented well enough in 45 pages.

I also don't think the description is, well, descriptive enough to let buyers get an idea of the flavor of this book. I was expecting something that might be usable with say, Blood and Space-- more traditional future/space.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: The parts I read were well written.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Too ambitious for the size.
