I have loved the Judges Guild Maps since they came out, when I was just a kid. I could look at them and imagine the strange happenings in the evocatively named locations. These are great maps, and have yet to be surpassed by anything printed since. Buy them to use with Judges Guild products. Buy them and create your own adventures. Buy them just for inspiration. By them just to look at. But buy them.

I was so excited to see this that I almost purchased it without checking to see if Skeleton Key had sent me a coupon (they did, $1.00 off, Thanks!).
I've been waiting for Adventure Town for a LONG time and this is the first set. You can create a number of variations of four different tavern shapes and interiors. I think this is one of the better looking sets so far. The stone work is particularly nice. I love the female face set in the stones on the ATTV112 tile.
Looking at this set, it's easy to see why Ed Bourelle was pegged to do the maps for Ptolus.

LIKED: Beautiful! With 27 tiles (1 more available for download) there are plenty of variations. Very usable.

DISLIKED: Not a thing. Can't wait for the next ones.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This is a fantastic addition for anyone using e-Adventure tiles (and you should be, if you're not). e-Adventure tiles by Skeleton Key games allow you to create truly awesome battlemaps and miniature scale dungeons and settings. This web based program allows you to plan out the maps, using the sets that you have, and then print out a report that shows you the map, the list of tiles and quantities needed to print, and a chart showing the tile layouts.
Though more "bells and whistles" are promised, this tool already has some very nice features, including adding or removing map columns and rows on the fly, or shifting the entire map left, right, up, or down. You can change the map size easily.
I would recommend this tool to anyone who uses and enjoys Skeleton Key's e-Adventure tiles (and yes, some e-Future tiles can be used too. See the RPGobjects web site for full details. And if you haven't checked out the fine products from Skeleton Key, do so.
For those of us who have been using these map tiles for some time already, this adds a whole new level of ease.

LIKED: Excellent features even in beta form. Easy to use. Easy to understand. Very good output.

DISLIKED: Somewhat bothered by the uncertainty regarding the possible switch to a subscription based service. But I honestly feel it will still be worth it. This is an awesome tool.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
An interesting idea. Each set has three or four cards with a list of equipment and the total weight for the set. Usually, they are light, medium, and heavy encumbrance levels. I just don't think this is enough here for the money.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Disappointed
This is a highly detailed write-up for a pretty typical fantasy setting inn. It can be dropped in just about any setting. It has pretty much all the information you could want.

LIKED: Plenty of Detail. good price.

DISLIKED: Color versions of the maps would have been a plus.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I purchased this a while ago, but it was quite a few weeks before I could find players on the Fantasy Grounds website. I just finished my first game today. This programs is AWESOME! Just viewing it without playing a game will not show you all that there is here. It is just freaking incredible! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to play online D&D.

LIKED: The program is just great. Stop by the FG website for more info. You'll be glad you did.

DISLIKED: As with any online game, it's hard to line up players and a DM, but that has nothing to do with the product itself.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This program promises a great deal and it does do a great deal. I find it very difficult to use and very counterintuitive, and I am a novice at neither role-playing nor computers.

DISLIKED: Difficult to use.

QUALITY: Disappointing

VALUE: Disappointed
Plenty of material here with new paladin classes and prestige classes. I didn't find any of them really interesting or exciting though. I got more out of the artifacts and spells. I usually don't read fiction in my rpg products (I hardly ever read it even in RPG magazines), and I haven't here, so I can't review the stories.

LIKED: Interesting enough, but not overly impressive.

DISLIKED: Don't really want to pay for fiction I'm not going to read anyway.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Some interesting and intriguing ideas for spells here. A couple that seemed unnecessary as well, but overall a good value for the price.

LIKED: The nod to Star Wars. Wouldn't have thought of this, but it's cool.

DISLIKED: See above.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I bought it as an e-Adventure Tiles completist, but if you have an Oriental Campaign, you will like this.

LIKED: Excellent art.

DISLIKED: Would have prefered a non-orient setting. I've been waiting for SKG city tiles.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
This series of products are great for dm's who have an idea for a dungeon encounter, but aren't that skilled at mapping or creating credible settings. They do require the work of adding your own encounters, but the printing features are very neat. You can select to show the maps with or without room numbers or contents.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This is THE comprehensive guide on building, exploring, and running mazes in a campaign. It may well be true that this means that it has relatively limited applications in a game, but the $4.00 price is well worth it just for the sample maze included and the maze related magic spells. There are also some interesting notes for taking mazes found somewhere else, and converting them.

LIKED: A huge wealth of information.

DISLIKED: Maze borders on page tend to be ink/toner hogs.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
