This product does just what it's description says - it provides a new use for the Craft (Alchemy) skill/feat. The items mentioned are all potions, powders, salves and the like. The descriptions also tell a bit about the item's availability (i.e. how likely are the PCs to find one of these items in an alchemist's shop). Some of the items are medieval versions of things like weed killer, energy drinks, and stain removers, but others are more mythical, like a love potion and the Golem salve.

15 and a bit pages of decent alchemical data/help concerning the Craft Alchemy skill. Some items include: De-icer, Instant Sobering, Liquid courage, Rage gas. The few bits of artwork I've seen in other PDFs, but the alchemical content is what it's all about.

Well worth the £1.90.

I really enjoyed this product. Unlike many alchemy collections I've seen, this one provides practical applications of alchemy. Highly useful collection of items that would be a great addition to a game.

Excellent ideas to expand the possibilities for using the Craft (Alchemy) skill. The wording is clear, the whole is well edited, and suggested ingredients are included for each substance. In addition, there are indices to the substances by price and creation DC in the back, which are quite useful.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: It's clear and presents good ideas for things the players can do with the Craft (Alchemy) skill, or even just buy from an alchemist for use. Attractive layout, ease of reading, and eye for everyday uses make this a good inclusion to any fantasy campaign.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Bookmarks weren't necessary (for 16 pages) but would have been nice, as well as some "behind the scenes" explanations or discussion for the DC's and the costs.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

Playing with characters who quite enjoy crafting mundane items this book was extremely useful. Most items are simple and well balanced. The list of ingredients adds a bit of flavour to the manufacturing process and could be used I suppose as the hooks for a few low level adventures with the Players in the employ of a great alchemist <br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: The variety of alchemical items presented<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Only that there wasn't more<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

The layout and artwork are excellent. The substances are from "huh?" to the useful, but obvious with a few "hey that's cool" selections. I consider the money well spent since now I don't have to figure out the stats for the useful materials.
