I do not own or ever have played a Pocket Universe game, but I was working on a "magical high school" campaign for my players and I saw this. I saw Jeff Dee's name and picked up a copy. It makes for a good resource and translating the ideas to other games or systems is fairly easy. It can't comment on the playability of the material, the readability was fine.

Not a bad translation of some popular culture elements. Could have had a little more in it, but overall I would recommend it as a diversion.

I already owned the print version of Pocket Universe but my local game store was unable to get Teenage Demon Slayers for me. Needless to say, I was happy to find it in PDF here! It is well-written and a treasure trove of ideas for anyone running any type of serious or comedic horror game such as Buffy, Angel or even Witchcraft.

No offense, but the PU (Pocket Universe) system has an apt abbreviation! While the PU system stinks, this sourcebook provided some great ideas for my own "Buffyish" campaign using the Savage Worlds rules. I don't feel like I wasted my money on this one.
