This is a clever, well done and very comprehensive piece, I think its useful for anyone who is interested in a mythopoeic tone to their campaign. I am using it too enhance a One Ring game, and its super helpful!

Its good, but I am left feeling a little bit disappointed by it. Several interesting NPC's from earlier work were brought back for this, and in two cases the new presentation openly conflicts with the the more nuanced and interesting intial one, and makes the NPC's one dimensional and boring. (Don't want to say more, for fear of spoiling things).

Its just not up to the level of Heart of the Wild or Darkening of Mirkwood.

This is really fun to read. Its packed with tidbits that will liven up your ongoing campaign. It is also an elaborate set and setting for a new campaign. Kind of perfect for LOFTP fans. Which I am.

I played the earlier edition and this is a great improvement. The rules are slightly different but the evocative description and the setting changes are worth a lot. It feels more open ended than the first edition - more capable of inserting Brakebills or Unknown Armies into the play.

I like the art, and the writing is stellar. If you liked other White Wolf games, if you played Unknown Armies and liked it then you will like this. And I liked it lot!

I loved this. Its totally dark full of Weirdness and a little scary. It will be a little bit of a challenge to DM, but I am excited to try. It's pretty harsh though, so fair warning.

I will be toning down the opposition a little or it will be a near certain TPK, which I think is no fun. Or mb. just not as fun.

But totally recomended!

I so totally love these Cubicle 7 TOR things. I am not sure I will ever get to play this, but the pleasure of reading these is worth every penny. And the art is beautiful. Years ago I played MERP using the Pendragon rules - I was trying to get the mythopoiec feel to the thing. But it never quite worked as well as I wanted. This system however is pretty much perfect.

This one is even better than the two more recent ones (Rivendell and Ruins of the North) and has the advantage of being less constrained by the "cannon". Its just great, and has good hooks to the earlier modules.

I literally cannot wait for the companion volume!
