I have had my eye on this for quite some time now and finally bit the bullet and got it. I will update the review as time goes on as i also got the roll20 version (And parts 2 and 3 also) of this too so i could run it. I mainly got the pdf so i could be reading it from my second screen. I will try to review it as a whole both the pdf and roll 20 versions as you cant review them on roll20.
The maps in both are amazing and i really like them, the hook i really enjoy and feel like it has a good thought process. I like the idea of the magic items scaling with levels although the 3 parts they will stay at one tier they can always come in handy on other things i run. The numbering on the map was a little odd but i also figured it out rather quickly so if you are running it you will have a little back and forth to do but heck Dungeon of the mad mage which i am running also is not the easiest to follow sometimes.
I like the fact that the numbers are small so they dont take up masses of space on the pdf and roll 20 maps. I havent gone through the story yet i was just really happy that everything was pre done for me although i am used to doing alot of legwork myself.
Now the only real issue i have is the fact that the english is not the best, it seems that maybe it was translated and just put down the way it was. There are missing words and some things that i think i have kinda made sense of but then again i deal with a lot of errors on other things and try to work around them be it spelling, stats wrong and so on.
Hoping to run the first session in about a week so i will start reading it in the coming days but the first couple of passages i did read i rather enjoyed.
So for now this is where i shall leave it as i get through the game i will try to add more, and then will pick up the second part pdf also.
