This is a fantastic little adventure that has a lot of cool stuff for your players to find, plus the biggest table of rumours I've ever seen. Fun new spells and magic items, a great story that ties into a lot of cool D&D lore, it's just really solid. Plus! You can get a nice POD copy!

this book has some interesting spells, items, and adventure but that being said it has some quality issues such as when it mentions the ravnica campaign it mentions niv-mizzet and adds an r to the end of his name also the stat tables for the creatures can be difficult to read.

I am using this in our podcast adventure (odndpodcast.com) and it was super easy to tie into the overall storyline and it has provided so much room for roleplay. A well thought out adventure and a lot of fun.

I DM'd this as a one-shot Thanksgiving treat for some of my usual players. We typically play stuff for the Adventurers League, but I really like to support Extra Life modules when I can. The adventure itself was just so different than other things we've played. I loved the technological bent to it while still making it familiar to people only used to playing in 5e. The players also kind of got really derailed right off the bat due to some shenanigans with one of the Hirelings which caused a player to need to use another character sheet for awhile. It really made the module stand out and I'd be interested in running a longer version of it in the future.

I doubted this module would ever be Adventurers League legal, but I am happy I was wrong! Everyone had a blast and I'm glad I picked it up!

Ran it as the 1-shot version and my players flew through it. With a slightly crazy warlock that was willing to sacrifice part of himself to the sphinx (- Int), tried to join the monks (until the party stopped him) and let Kwalish "borrow" part of his soul to test out the new not-even-close-to-AL-legal armour, there wasn't a whole lot of tension besides the one fight. In that one fight the Master decapitated the bugbear barbarian (aka the party tank) with the very first non-surprise hit on combat, so that had them a little worried. Thankfully they tried to use the Gate spell, and instead of Stygia they got a visit from Hruggek in Pandemonium to bestow a favour on an faithful sower of violence to override his honourable death on the battlefield.

While there were parts of this I quite enjoyed with some really fun thematic and character elements, I overall wasn't too impressed. The maps and descriptions are often very unclear, making it difficult too run; also the module relies strongly on fights with singlular tough monsters; however, these fights don't work too well in 5e and they get repetitive after awhile.

Absolutely great story! Loved the science-fiction, created a whole campaign to tie up to this one... Great instructions for the DM, with many options left open for creativity. Superb, definitely worth the money!

As someone who played Expedition when it came out, long long ago, I was excited to find Wizards was coming out with a follow up (and one that was entirely for charity, to boot).

This adventure is presented with 8ish hooks that can be used in combination with most WOTC hardcovers from Tomb of Annihilation onward. There should be no problem dropping this adventure into most campaigns and it even has guidelines on how long to run it (as a 4 hour one shot, as a few sessions of "short play" or as a huge adventure).

The artwork is all of different styles, but that's a minor hiccup when compared to the pure dearth of content available here. Looking forward to finishing this adventure up!
