This is really a great module. The story is nice, and the resolution requires some fun thinking outside the box. I ran this for some children, and they really got into the narrative and figued out how to resolve the adventure in a really cooperative way. I consider this one of the best intro-to-DnD adventures available, along with its companion adventures.

I am a fan of this mini-campaign. The stories flow well from one to the next, and there is ample room for a DM to expand on the Hobgoblin society presented to build this into a larger campaign. The adventures are all well-balanced, and the group I ran it for had a great time.

A very enjoyable module. I ran it once, and the group had a great time. The mix of traps, combat, and role-play is nicely balanced. Some of the encounters are more interesting than others, though this might differ from one group to the next. My group did want a bit more background information, and wanted to spend more time with the Butler, so there are some areas where the DM needs to improvise. Overall, recommended upper-tier adventure.
