This was one of the first solo games I played, during the pandemic. Buoyed by the author's fantastic art, this is a delightful and deceptively thought-provoking game that really gets the brain churning, the creativity flowing, and just breathes whimsy and that very-feral delight that comes with irreverant dungeoneering OSRPGs tend to hold.
If you've never played a solo game before, I highly reccomend picking up How to Host a Dungeon. If you struggle with resolving some of the prompts/questions, let it go and let it flow; the game is incredibly forgiving and rewards 'just going with it'. Pencil off a few hours, grab a big piece of paper, some dice, colored pencils and go to town imaginging a brilliant, storied dungeon for yourself. 10/10
