This revision of the sorcerer is wonderful as by using a spellpoint casting system with it tied to metamagic it pretty much makes it stand out from the other spellcasters that used spell slots and by giving more sorcery points and even adding way to replenish their sorcery points for prolonged use. The only problem I can see is that it could discourage multiclassing to other classes (for better or worse) due to no longer sharing spell slots (though it could be hashed out by discussing with your DM).
The other part I really like is the new sorcerer subclass, Arcane Prodigy. For one thing, allowing intelligence to be used as a spellcasting ability instead of charisma is really great as it not only allows sorcerers to multiclass well with Intelligence-based casters/subclasses (including wizards) but can also allows sorcerers to cover the party for information gathering instead of being the face. Another nice thing from this subclass is that its features and themes are generic enough to allow creative players to use the blank slate nature of this subclass to add in their own personal details which is something needed for sorcerers for the most part. Finally this subclass is class-version/variant agnostic meaning you can use this subclass on the regular PHB version as well. If there is one improvement that can be made (though can be hashed out by discussing with the DM or might not be needed considering its an optional rule) is that the multiclassing requirement when this subclass is chosen should be changed to Intelligence as well so that multiclassing isn't still dependent on Charisma after making the change to using Intelligence.
Overall I reccommend this revision of the Sorcerer.
