A surreal and disturbing group larp about trauma and exploitation. In a loosely implied setting a mythical emperor maintains of harem of formerly human living tree people.Part of the players take the role of these tree people while other play the decadent nobility that view them as property.
As a group larp I assume this was written with convention play in mind, but would also work well for a college student club type situation. Far closer to an acting class exercise than something like game-like it lacks clear goals other than the experience itself and has nothing a win condition or points to score. Short and to the point, It gives just enough details and guidance to embody a role but demands a high degree of improvisation.
Unapologetic in it's impressionistic approach, it oozes a vital feminist anger, and implicitly invites players to process their own trauma. A brave, confident work of art that wastes no time trying to appeal to casual gamers
