This adventure is brilliant. The concept is funny, the writing is amazing and provides lots of extra DM guidance. And the Red War mechanics fit perfectly into the madcap chaos. I've run this twice now for my local AL group and both parties found it absolutely delightful and absurd.

The only maybe minor complaint I have is that it is fairly railroady and if for some reason your players aren't hooked on following along you might need to be quick on your feet as a DM to make it work.

Been playing with my college buddies for 20 years, and they loved this. Great humor. The only thing that almost threw us off track was our party -- upon retrieving the body from the sewer -- didn't want to burn it to ashes. They wanted to carry the body back home in a sack and burn it there.... which of course would circumvent the whole ending. Took some crazy NPC persuasion to get them to burn the body right away.

Absolutely a blast to run and to play. There are few points where players can (and likely will) attempt to "save vs. box text" and derail the plot with well timed spells.

The plot and text is great with players who played the Red War modules, but even those with no exposure loved it. I won't even dock the review points for requiring extra research on the curse based on just how fun this was to run.

I have run this three times for vastly different audiences and every time the last encounter in particular ends up a nail biter and the conclusion is always rewarding.

The module also balances fairly easily given the lattitude the GM has to push encounters along.

Highly recommended.

One of my favorite CCCs! Well written and so much fun to play. I helped premier this last year at ReaperCon and am planning on running it again this year.

This was an extremely fun and funny module to run. Halfway though this adventure my players were questioning why there was even a need to do certain things since none of it helped. But each of them enjoyed it as a whole and had a lot of fun with the final fight and the magic item's quirk.

Let's here it for the return of wild magic! When two players turn into floating potted plants during the boss battle at the end, you've got something completely different on your hands. Not a single player walked away dissatisfied!

But seriously, the combat sequence in the alley and sewers is one of the best I've ever run. It felt balanced, flowed smoothly, and the players really had to roleplay their way through it WHILE fighting. I'd run that scene over and over again--it will not likely ever play out the same way twice.

And the ending, well, buy this, play it, and watch experienced D&D players smile with an all-knowing ironic grin. Fantastic!

Hilarious, interactive, and an all-around humurous module in an otherwise grim situation. Having the adventurers face one obstacle after another (and the last obstacle being the most unexpected yet hilarious), only for an unexpected conclusion, my players are already used to my insane characters, and this only gives me a playground for an equally insane plot. Great work!

Great writing, great combat, all around fantastic module, probably one of the best out of all the ones I've played and run, and that's saying something because I really, really hate gnomes. I even sang karaoke style and I think my players loved this module as much as I did.

Loved running this adventure, and wish I could have played in it! As a member of the community, I love the Red War and am looking forward to more community-driven content such as this! The adventure had a way of keeping us constantly moving, which I appreciated. My only complaints were that there was a section where I had to somewhat push the story forward. But that's just a side-effect of having very capable players. Thanks for making this one, David! Long Live the Enclave!

Excellent module!! An excellent example of creativity and humor, with absolutely comic elements and surreal scenes (my players in certain scenes could not stop laughing), but also combined with dramatic moments! A really well done mix of roleplay and a very hard final boss fight.. It is also one of the few modules that relates to a historical event in the AL community, the Red War, and plunges into a subplot during the Red War Epic, giving players the chance to learn more about this important event. I can't wait to see more adventures from this author!!

A simple request leads you down the best of DnD rabbit holes. So much fun to play with some great characters and great opportunities for creative role play. Some fun combat as well, but cool to have a story that plays well without constant combat.

Had the privaledge to play this while the author DMed the adventure. So much fun and so much humor. If you like adventures that aren't all combat and have a compelling story, I highly recommend this romp through Mulmaster while the Red War rages around you.

It is a little "Dude, Wheres My Car" with a touch of "Weekend at Bernie's" wrapped in "Le Mis"....sounds weird but it works....kinda like Pineapple on Pizza.
