I love so much about this product. Bringing broadsheets/newspapers to Waterdeep gives the DM such an amazing swiss army tool. The presentation by Volo was a great idea, and the different flavours sprinkled to the particular broadsheets also. Great product!

I love the notion of physical props, being able to further engage my players with the world is always great, my only complaint would be that the art doesn't matcht the product for me at all, the Victorian era ballroom illustrations are...fine but the one with the Bobby (English policeman) really ruined the immersion for me, I'd either prefer no illustrations or to pay extra for some new art. Or possibly some stock fantasy art maybe?

Otherwise this is a great product and I'd reccomend it

Delightful addition to a Waterdhavian game, this has given me a lot of brainstorming material for side quests and intrigue, while also giving me physical "newspapers" to give to my players who are living and adventuring in the city. This absolutely isn't NEEDED in your game, but as a quick, lovely way to add some flavor, I've found few to be its equal.

I really love these and highly recommend them! They are a great prop for bringing Waterdeep to life. The writing is quite funny and each publication has its own style/voice. If you can, I'd suggest printing these at sizes larger than the standard 8.5x11. The work in this PDF really shines if you can print it at 11x17 and/or 13x19. I printed these out and put together a couple of "notice boards" on our walls to display them to my players for our Waterdeep campaign. Here are some examples (combined with other props):

I used the one of the Sentinel pages as atmosphere for current events as I kicked off the action on the 1 Mirtul 1492. The day after Greengrass. That page alone was worth the price of admission. One of my players was so inspired by the concept that we homebrewed a reporter background. He works for the Watchman.

Are you looking for a bit of lore from Volothamp himself, about the broadsheets of Waterdeep? Are you looking for descriptions of all the various outlets and rags of the city, along with the various npcs who are employed by them? What about 12 replica broadsheets that could be printed and used as handouts?

Well then for just under a buck, this is what you want. And if you didn't know you wanted those things, you do.

Awesome! Love every bit of it, will definitely enhance my Waterdeep Dragon Heist game! The newspaper articles are well layed out and feel authentic, and each of the newspaper companies has it's own unique feel to it!

I thought this was going to just be 13 black and white front pages from various newspapers in Waterdeep, and I would have been happy with for the price. It actually includes write-ups on the various newspapers, a table for random npc reporters, how to use newspapers in your game as well as maps of wherre the papers are headquarted and a asic newspaper office map. Some of the newspaper pages are in full color as well, and the art is fantastic. This is a steal for the price, and it will add depth to your dragon heist game.
