In the final sessions of running this book, and it has been an absolute delight to run.

THe formating of the book, the way it lays out information is tailormade for DMs to run games at the table. For example, the town has a one pager of locations and npcs matching the map key. Whilst the dungeon has the same for each floor, with a one pager of the characteristics of the floor & one liner on each room.

This has recently been updated with player friendly versions of the extended information on the town locations which is incredibly helpful to make it even more table ready.

I suspect my party will continue with their characters in the woods, and venture out to Vongyth next.

Can't recommend this book more highly to DMs of all abilites.

I started with just the chapter one guide, and came back for the lot. The information in here for helping to run Rime of the Frostmaiden is a huge benefit to DMs.

• The pdf has hyperlinking on the contents page so you can get to where you need to quicker
• Tips & tricks for each town and adventure, such as tweaking for difficult or reward
• Suggestions on how to link disparate elements together and link factions to create a central narrative
• Great advice on linking middle of the adventure together with some suggested flowpaths

A very simply but effective addition to Rime of the Frostmaiden campaigns, that are supposed to be about Auril. Well this addition adds her followers into the campaign with great advice on how they would think and act, and where they might be hiding out. They have become a core part of my campaigns as a result helping to centre the adventure.

A great resource that I kept referring to when getting ready to run and had on hand during early sessions of Rime of the Frostmaiden.

Some really useful advice on the balance of the different towns, and some suggested tweaks that are useful.

Found this a really useful guide to give the players before session zero of running Rime of Frostmaiden campaigns. Highly recommended purchase to get them in the frame of mind of the setting.

I am running this as a short campaign for a small party of friends and they are giving better feedback on their enjoyment playing in it than the big hardbook official books I have run for them in different groups.

• Each adventure is built from the framework of Lazy DM 8 steps
• Handy advice on how to customise the adventures for time and difficulty
• And it is essentially a sourcebook for a mountain of exploration with the lore and encounter tables in the book

Completely changed my approach to not just running games but thinking about what I needed for games. It is a wonderful simple system, a great layout of information with some useful thought starters in the back.

Worth not just picking up this book but joining the Sly Flourish community for more great advice and ideas.

Ran this after Christmas with my two (5 & 7), they loved it. The 5 year struggled a little with the length of it, and it was amazing that my 7 year noticed a name difference used to describe a character by different groups in the adventure.

Wonderful system for introducing young children to TTRPGs. Straight forward, easy for the kids to follow. There are also plenty of published adventures on here to keep the little critters occupied.
