This was a really great introduction to my group of 5 new players. The setting is perfect to get new players acclimated to the Forgotten Realms world. With a bit of imagination, I dropped the players into Neverwinter, and from there they traveled to Seldom Springs by way of merchant escort. My players really got into the roleplaying aspect, with much help from the author's NPC's. All in all, this is a fantastic opener to a campaign. My players can't wait for the next adventure!

This was the first session that me and my group had ever tried! I thought the plot was very cool, especially with the notes that were found throughout the manor, and the cool alternate reality feature.

My only complaint is that there was a TON of combat, which scared my three level 1 PCs, and by the end they were almost dead (which I was trying to avoid for their first quest). The role-playing aspect was also lighter than I'd hoped, with very few interactions outside of the players exploring the manor.

I think the party will be returning to Seldom Spring for a later adventure!

I ran the house of Redmane as a one shot with only 2 players over Discord. This was a really fun adventure for my players. The diary pages were great and as they were found out of order they raised all sorts of theories and role playing. Although due to the dice they did not find the cellar originally but the diary pages told them there was a cellar and they went looking.

A great paced adventure which worked really well as written for my 2 x level 3 PCs.
