This campaign is not for the faint of heart.
Widows Peak is a memorable experience for both the DM and the players. Many experiences will be remembered and looked back on by everyone. For example, laughing at how a character was tragically thrown off a mountain by a seagull? Definetely something that stays in your mind. Widows Peak is a horrifying place, and the backstory and worldbuilding that was put into making Widow's Peak is incredible. You can tell thought was taken at every point in the story. There is death, dread and something lurking after every corner. Nowhere is safe, The players will realise this early on, and leave them talking to every character they can find that doesnt intend on disfiguring and transforming into a giant monstrosity. It just so happens that every character has been carefully thought out. It surprised me that every character in widows peak, everything was put there for a reason. Theres a peculiar man lurking behind a carnival tent staring at you. Theres a reason for that, theres a reason he's there. Theres a strange singing sound coming from the shores, theres a reason for that. The characters are carefully thought out and abolutely amazing.
In conclusion, Widows Peak is amazing, memorable and horrifying. I have to give this a 5-star as there were absolutely no faults that I could find with it, and my players found no faults when i asked them either.
