Exploring Eberron

Long time fan of Eberron here. I have to say that this is one of THE best Eberron lore books out there. If youa re a fan of Eberron, or new to the setting this is a must have book. The in depth lore on uncovered and little covered topics is truly amazing. So many adventure ideas now, I don't even know where to start. This is a MUST buy Eberron book for anyone.

The planar information is amazing. I love the information on Droaam and the Dhakaani. Both relevant to campaign I am about to start.

The Silver Flame of Eston

It is a decent framework for the start of an adventure. However the map lacked a number key to location descriptions so I found the second half of the adventure so confusing that I had to make it all up as to how things flowed. Also the basis of the adventure was a hole into Khyber that was constantly defended by the Silver Flame, yet the vault of the Silver Flame was also in Khyber? That part really does not make any valid sense. So a decent framework for an adventure, expect that you will need to heavily modify it to actually get it to work for you.

Hey Phillip B, Thanks for the feedback. I was worried that maybe the numbers weren't showing up on the maps for some reason, so I downloaded a copy of the module from DM's Guild myself. The numbers are there and they do correspond to the keyed areas in the module. I'm not sure why you weren't able to see them. If anyone else runs into this problem, let me know. As for the vault... fair point. That's what John Lasseter would call a refrigerator moment. It's where people see a movie with a plot hole that they don't notice until they're at home, looking in the refrigerator for something to eat, and in a flash, they're like, "Hey..." Seriously, it never occurred to me until you said something. Oh well. :-)

Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron (5e)

Already been viewing through this as I run multiple campaigns in Eberron and been a long time fan. This is an excellent resource, and I love that it is Keith's take on the 5E conversion of Eberron. I love that he did nto write this a sourcebook but as a "if you have a character like X this is what you should think about how you would see the world." That is an awesome perspective and take on the setting. The additional charts that it offers for backgrounds, classes, racea and characters in general are top notch.

If you don't play D&D in Eberron check it out and give it a try. This is definitely worth it.

Nice resource for all sorts of inns. Great resource for GM's to develope information on the fly or just to get a bunch of ideas for a staple adventure setting.
