I don't know what I would have done without it. Made this adventure easier to prep for and easier to run.
I have to remove some sections of the script that directly addressed players or informed how they were feeling ("...until curiosity finally gets the better of you." etc) because it doesn't suit my DMing style, but overall this was an amazing supplement.
This script is laid out in such a way that it was easy for me (as someone with only one monitor) to navigate during play whilst also navigating the original Death House adventure pdf, as well as the map in separate tabs.
The "singing ghouls variant" option for the basement dungeon saved my wizard player, who always insists being in front of the marching order, from certain death.

Very, very good. Love how you can take what you want from these descriptions and ideas and leave the rest. Copy-pasted many for my game. I liked how the script in some places added some comments, like a video game, although i did not use it. Some of you might like this kind of stuff if you would like to run COS with a videogamey descriptions.

This is such a great resource. I was really having a hard time setting the spooky tone for CoS, but this really did it. I like that i gave a description for every room, even those that are "unimportant".

I am so late in writing a review for this, but this was a great product, it was my first time DMIng for more than 2 people, and it enabled me to keep a 6 player party engaged, I was so happy, and I have fond memories of my first session, and it wouldn't have been possibler without this.

This is really freaking awesome! I wish I had this when I ran Death House.

This suppliment is good. It is a big volume of information that was missing from the CoS book, and it gives it a spooky/fun spin. However, I ran it without proof reading it first, and I regret that (I did skim it and omit things that didn't apply to my campaign). There are a lot of small mistakes, from spelling to grammer, and it takes a few liberties which were innappropriate for my campaign. Now, that's mostly my fault, as I run a game that is not explicitly RAW. This is a super suppliment if you just want to run the adventure without doing much prep, and I give it 5/5 stars for that, but for anyone who wants to currate the adventure to their own tastes and is just hoping to use this to add colour to each room, there is still a lot of careful editing needed. 4/5 stars. Still, I would recommend this to DMs of any level of experience, as it is absolutely crammed full of good content!

A wonderful aid to the Death House introductory adventure.
My main praise is on the evocative tone, where each room is dripping with flavor and prose.
I used it thoroughly as my main interface to the players - the module is constatnly mixing descriptions, monsters, behind the scenes and secrets.
Wonderful work, thank you.

This was almost perfect to add to the terror that was this chapter. Like many of other reviews I dropped the last line quips as it just detracked from the scene and mood. I also had to come up with new descriptions in some rooms because they descriptive words were repeated too often. for example: every time that the dumbwaiter was described it was "yawning" open. and every room on the upper floors were "choked with dust"
Other than those minor things it was great. My players are going to love it.

A must-have if you don't want to have to invent your own ways to describe the scenes within Death House. This was a huge help in setting the ominous tone for my Curse of Strahd campaigns.

Not worth the ink to print it. Just use the script in the module and go through it carefully, removing any spoilers.

This is so amazing. It should be added to the actual Curse of Strahd book. Love it!

This script made the death house very fluid and fun for the party and while it did help with the possiable TPK problem it ddnt nerf the combat completely. This script also left room for insertion of enemies, treasure puzzles or whatever suits the DM style you chose. Hoping i can find more scripts by this author!!

I am currently running CoS - Death House and the descriptions in here gave a true sense of life to the Death House. The descriptions are very evocative, and the added grimdark details in the art, wall panneling, sculptures, etc, were excellent for giving my players a sense of forboding and dread about what they were going to find as they delved deeper into the Death House.

I'm running the Death House with some modifications, so I went into it knowing I would need to re-write some things to accomodate those. It's a good thing I was expecting to do the work anyway because the text is constantly undercutting itself with sarcastic remarks.
As many other reviewers have said, most of the time the offending sentence is the final one, so it's usually easy to omit. I just don't know why it's there at all.
Four stars for still being mostly useful for the purpose.

I love it! Saves so much prep time and sets the mood. I left out a lot of the last sentences, but apart from that this is definitely worthy of being added in the original module.
