The gold standard for old school fantasy RPGs!
It was this with the addition of "Deathbringer" that make my favourite fantasy RPG experience.
I am pretty excited about discovering "Lamentations of the Flame Princess" though. So this game might have a competitor!

All you need in a simple little book!
I have nothing bad to say personally, but my group has gravitated more to Old School Essentials and Lamentations of the Flame Princess.
Still a great rulebook for old school fantasy!

If you played Advanced 2nd edition Dungeons and Dragons in the 90's, this is pretty much it!
A lot of nostalgia here!

A cool concept.
I also like the included adventure and setting.
But, Fate is just too light mechanically for me. You millage may vary.

Old school D&D!
It's classic for a reason. The presentation is good. And everything you need for some old school D&D in one little book!

While I was hopefull, the Fate style of game just isn't for me.
But, if you like Fate, you might like this.

Not a good fit for me.
Seems like this game is much more for the solo player.
If you like games like Fate, you might like this. It depends a lot on filling out the actings by making it up as you go.
A few more mechanics than Fate, but still very much like doing improv.
I do like the 2d6 plus a 1d10 dice mechanic. The timers are also interesting.

Great little game!
Does a lot in very little space.
I'm not a fan of the format. I'd prefer to see this in an A5 format.

The best Star Flett Universe Colouring book.
Of the three, having people is morre interesting.
My 3 year old loves them!

Simple rules for any wargame!
The rules do a good job of getting out of the way to you can have fun and not have to constantly look things up.
Just complex enough that there is a lot of tactical play. And flexible enough that you could accommedate just about any setting.

Simple space mechanics in an ICRPG style.
Better than most without taking too much time. Well done!

Fun little game!
The extras alone make it worth it.
If you like using index card maps, this comes with full colour versions.
Very nice!
Also, makes me want to watch "Aliens" again... that's never a bad thing!

Fast and fun game to play while waiting for other players to arrive.
It's silly and glorious!

There's some cool ideas here.
A lot of game in a compact package! That alone is a great accomplishment.
I'm not a fan of the 2d10 mechanic. I think a d20 could accomplish the same thing, only faster and easier to understand.
Personally, when possible i just roll 1d10 and round to the nearest 10.
I was on the kickstarter for the new version, but backed out after seeing a version of it. The orriginal is better.
Get this version and avoid the kickstarter for the new one.

My go to RPG.
Use these rules to mod your favourite game.
They make things quick and cinimatic, while still keeping some tactical crunch!
Packed with a lot of modern inovations in an old school package.
I found that after a few Deathbringer games, i wanted to create my own RPG using Deathbringer as the core. Not hard to do, and its been very fun to play.
Highly recommended.
