This is a no-brainer at this price. I can't imagine a GM (for nearly any game system) that can take something from this. The random charts are much more evocative than the standard fare I normally see offered. Location result "#32 Vivisection theatre"....wowzers. Events and descriptors for these locales follow and since everything is so tightly bundled in a garden theme-- combining bits Chinese menu style-- actually WORKS here as opposed to the nonsense such things often generate. What's in the ornamental pond? How about tiny parasites, how about a mystic version of champagne, or simply fouled....I can't say enough good things about the number of usable material here.

Hegde mazes, topiaries, buildings, any and all features you would expect or want are all here.

And the monsters? This is where I always want to be wowed by originality....how about a turtle with a bonsai tree growing from its back, rusted mechanical bumblebees, or a chart for creating hundreds of chimera-type beasts.

I can drone on and on but I feel like I'd just be giving away more brilliance for free. Buy this product, support this level of creativity with your dollar, you won't regret it.

This whole series of Mini Quests just ooze "old-school" and "cool". This is the kind of stuff your buddy who was the best DM in your high school would draw up in the mid 80's and it wouldn't be polished or perfect but it was damn fun. This homage to Jaws is cleverly done and was the adventure that convinced me to snag the rest of the series. Kudos and looking forward to more.

I can't think of a parody product that so succinctly captures the essence of its target. The recent and tragic fad of simply throwing out lists (or even worse... using someone else's online generator to generate content and passing it off as one's own) and calling it an rpg product (100 types of sticks!, 100 names you can find in your own phonebook!, 100 utter wastes of time!, ad nauseum) is perfectly lampooned here by Ben Gerber and his trollish minions. 100 numbers between 1 and 100 is exactly what it claims to be... and it's totally useless...which means it's just as good as most other "list" products on rpgnow and drivethrurpg. Kudos!

Wow....tough to even know where to begin, so I will keep this short....Incredibly cool backstory, great setting, engaging and memorable NPCs, well-written, awesome full-color maps all the pieces are in place. Read aloud text (some of it a bit tongue-in-cheek) helps the novice GM, while veterans will appreciate the obvious opportunities to add their own flavor and expansion.

This adventure lasted my party close to seven hours and left them wanting more. I can't recommend an adventure more highly than this one. As a side note if you had any doubts about Joe Goodman's Dungeon Crawl Classics system...buy it and run this adventure as is. Generate multiple 0-level chumps and bumble forward hoping for survival. It will be a guaranteed blast. Looking forward to watching this product go Gold!

Unbeatable for the price. Sure there are a few things I will never use, but overall really nice lineart of very unique monsters. I'm shocked this is the first review for this product as it really is worth crowing about! Nice mix of aliens, fantasy classics, new monsters (which could fit fantasy or sci-fi), a few whimsical pieces, a few dinosaurs- something for every taste.
