My daughter REALLY wanted to have a DND birthday party. She was turning 14 and I couldn't fathom running a campaign for a bunch of 14 year olds who had never played before and managing it all in a short span of a few hours. I was recommended this one shot from folks over on reddit, among others, and this was the winner. It had everything. Action, roleplay, a fun puzzle with a handout...the kids really loved it. I can't say enough how perfect this campaign was for this specific situation. All I did was change the brewery to a cider mill, and handed the kids each a mug of sparkling apple cider when the owner handed it to their players and they were hooked. Thank you for a well balanced, engaging one-shot!
