I won't write a long review, but I ran this last weekend and it was a blast. Easily one of the best AL modules I've ran.
It has a good mix of exploration (seeing the elemental plane of fire), role play (lots of good interactions, well laid out by the module, the friggin' crown!), puzzles (the timed inverted pyramid puzzle had my party stressed out), and encounters (the lava roper encounter was incredible! the final encounter was tough, yet could be solved by talking).
The module is well laid out and one read through was sufficient to run the module. I feel like the organization could have been a little better for the pyramid puzzle. It was broken down by locations on the map instead of logical/sequential portions of the puzzle. Which made it slightly confusing, but I figured it out in ~5-10 minutes.
There were no errors that I saw in terms of grammar, spelling, etc. It was clearly well proofread, which I appreciate greatly.
It's a little tough to fit into a four hour time slot, but it's not a module I'd consider impossible to fit in a 4 hour time slot. They also provide guidance for reducing the run time of the module, which I always appreciatei. I managed it by running the final encounter real quick.
One note, you do need to print out the handouts for the pyramid puzzle. If you don't have that, then I don't know that portion of the module can be ran easily.
The map for the pyramid puzzle is also complicated and will take a long time to draw if you're doing it. I had my party draw it while I talked through the post ship scenes (getting to the palace, meeting the efreeti/talking to ardet/the setup for the challenge). And with 3 people drawing it took them ~20 minutes.
My only major gripe is the magic item (a portable hole), kinda sucked.
